• Ash Class Experience Viking Life

  Our Year 5 children had a great day out at the Perlethorpe Education Centre where they experienced what life was like in Viking Britain. They dressed in Viking costumes, made jewellery, played games and used millstones to make flour. They also spent time building their own shelters...

  

• Birch Class are superheroes!

  Well done to Birch Class who led a lovely assembly about Superheroes for their parents. They sang songs and told us about their superheroes, both fictional and real-life. A big thank you to the parents for providing their costumes – they looked amazing (the staff did too!).

• Basketball Team become Ashfield District Champions!

  Congratulations to our Basketball team who performed so magnificently in the Ashfield District Finals this week. They faced tough competition against Croft, Morven Park and Linby. Having won the first two games, the decider was against Linby who we went on to beat 2 – 1 in a very close match. Our team proudly collected their gold medals as Ashfield District Champions – another tremendous achievement for such a small school! Thank you to Mrs. Sinfield who trained and organised the team.

  

• Birch and Hazel Classes take part in a Scottish Theme Day

• Table Tennis Champions!

  Congratulations to our Key Stage Two table tennis teams who performed magnificently in the recent Ashfield District competitions. The A team won their competition finishing unbeaten with 20 / 20 points and the B team won their competition with the C team as runners-up. A big thank you to Mrs. Sinfield who has trained and organised the teams.
