Welcome to the Spring Term!

Our topic this term will be......

'Raging Rivers and Monstrous Mountains!'

This term the children will be exploring rivers and mountains across the world and what life was like during this time period. It is a very exciting topic that encourages the children to gain worldwide knowledge of the word's most fascinating rivers and mountains! 

This topic promises to provoke many questions from the children as they develop a good understanding of the the world's most interesting rivers and mountain ranges.  

Our key text for this half term will be:

'October, October' By Katya Balen.

Key information:

P.E. lessons will usually take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays but please ensure P.E. kits are in school all week.

Maths homework will be sent home on Thursdays and should be returned to school no later than the following Wednesday. 

Spelling words will be given out on a Tuesday and will be tested the following Tuesday. 

Children are encouraged to log into Times Table Rock Stars regularly to encourage rapid recall of all multiplication facts up to 12x12 (individual logins are in each child's home/school diary).
