The teacher in Year 5 is Mrs Eves. 

Our topic this term is......

'Victorians'

This term, Year 5 will be exploring the fascinating topic of Victorians. The children will learn about what life was like during Victorian times and how it changed the way we live today. We will look at some important invention and people who were alive during this time. We will also be able to go to Southwell Workhouse for our trip, which we are really looking forward to.  

 Our English focus this half term will be 'Gaslight' by Eloise Williams'

We will explore this text and work on letter writing as well as a character description.  

Key information:

P.E. lessons will usually take place on Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Maths and spelling homework will be sent home on Friday and should be returned to school no later than the following Friday. 

Spelling words will be tested Friday.
