Welcome to the Autumn Term!

Our topic this term will be......

'Victorian Visionaries'

This term the children will be exploring the Victorian era and what life was like during this time period. It is a very exciting and engaging topic! We are especially looking forward to our trip to Perlethorpe this week where the children will experience what life was like for Victorian children. 

This topic promises to provoke many questions from the children as they develop a good understanding of what it would have been like to live in Victorian England.  

Our key text for this half term will be:

'Gaslight' By Eloise Williams

Key information:

P.E. lessons will usually take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays but please ensure P.E. kits are in school all week.

Maths homework will be sent home on Thursdays and should be returned to school no later than the following Wednesday. 

Spelling words will be given out on a Tuesday and will be tested the following Tuesday. 

Children are encouraged to log into Times Table Rock Stars regularly to encourage rapid recall of all multiplication facts up to 12x12 (individual logins are in each child's home/school diary).
