Summer Term 1: People Who Help Us

This term our topic is “People Who Help Us.” The children will be introduced to the important roles different people play in keeping us safe, healthy, and happy. We will explore emergency services such as the police, firefighters, and paramedics and help children understand how they respond in emergencies and support the community. Alongside this, we will learn about everyday local helpers like doctors, nurses, teachers, shop workers, and postal workers. Through stories, role play, and discussions, children develop an appreciation for these roles, build awareness of how to seek help, and begin to understand the importance of caring for others in their community.

Our Christian Value this term is DETERMINATION.
