Stone Age Day
Year 3 & 4 thoroughly enjoyed travelling back in time to the Stone Age with Historic Workshops!
We met a Stone Age woman called Bug and helped her learn to speak our language. She told us all about the evolution of man throughout the Stone Age and explained how not only humans, but weapons and tools changed and progressed over time. Both classes undertook a bone investigation, an artefact analysis, made their own spear, produced some cave art drawings and had a go at shooting some prey in archery!
Everyone, including staff, learnt something new!
