Collective Worship

Our daily act of collective worship or assembly as a part of our strong and positive partnership with St. Michael and All Angels is central to building and maintaining our school ethos by ensuring our school values are at the heart of everything we do. It helps to communicate and develop our Church School Ethos and the Christian values that drive us, where we describe ourselves as 'Being the BEST we can be'.

We gather for Collective Worship every day, either as a whole school or within our classes. Each week begins with a focus launched through the inspiring Picture News resource, helping us explore current issues and big questions from a Christian perspective. Throughout the week, we reflect on how our school values are rooted in stories from the Bible and how we can live them out in our daily lives. We end each week with our special Celebration Assembly, where we come together to celebrate achievements, recognise those who have been trying their very BEST, and honour pupils who have been spotted living out our Christian Values in and around school.
