  • Light your Christingle

    Our Key Stage 2 children performed a lovely Christingle Service in church. Thank you for the donations received at the end of the service. The collection of £102.37 will be passed on to The Children’s Society. A big thank you to the Co-op in Selston who kindly donated the oranges for the Christingles.

  • Christmas Fayre raises approximately £1850

    A big thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Fayre on Friday afternoon. The school was buzzing with excitement and the children created lots of amazing stalls and games. Santa was busy in his grotto throughout the afternoon and I'm sure he was ready for a rest when he left! The hampers were amazing once again thanks to the many generous donations. After a very busy afternoon, the estimated profit is approximately £1850. Well done, everyone!
  • A wonderful nativity performance of Prickly Hay

    Well done to all of the children in Chestnut, Birch and Hazel Classes who performed ‘Prickly Hay’ so magnificently in church. We were so proud of all of them and they really did put everyone in a festive mood. A big thank you to all of the adults who organised the performances and to the parents who produced such lovely costumes.
  • Years 5 / 6 Indoor Athletics team win bronze medals

    Well done to our Year 5 / 6 Indoor Athletics team who won bronze medals in the Ashfield Indoor Athletics Finals. They all performed to the best of their ability and enjoyed a great afternoon of athletics.
  • Light Up Underwood School!

    A big thank you to the Light Up Underwood committee who have created a brightly-lit nativity scene in our outdoor quiet area - a wonderful start to advent at our school!

    We had a lovely lighting up ceremony on Monday afternoon. The children sang two carols before the big switch on by our guest of honour - Cllr Sam Wilson.
