• Quicksticks team are Ashfield District Champions!

  Congratulations to our Quicksticks teams who took part in the Ashfield District Finals. In the B team tournament, our team finished third and received Bronze medals and in the A team tournament our team finished as District Champions. All of the children displayed great attitude throughout the evening and represented the school with pride. A big thank you to Mrs. Sinfield who trained and organised the teams.

They learnt about sustainability in terms of food and energy and they also learnt about food chains and the classification of creatures. • Ash Class Experience Viking Life

  Our Year 5 children had a great day out at the Perlethorpe Education Centre where they experienced what life was like in Viking Britain. They dressed in Viking costumes, made jewellery, played games and used millstones to make flour. They also spent time building their own shelters...

  

• Birch Class are superheroes!

  Well done to Birch Class who led a lovely assembly about Superheroes for their parents. They sang songs and told us about their superheroes, both fictional and real-life. A big thank you to the parents for providing their costumes – they looked amazing (the staff did too!).
